Andy Grand has lived in Norfolk all his life and has called Wells-next-the-Sea home for over 20 years. His lifelong connection to the coast is matched by his deep experience at sea.
He holds professional maritime qualifications including Day Skipper, Coastal Skipper, RYA Yachtmaster Offshore with commercial endorsement, Sea Survival Techniques, First Aid at Sea, and Marine VHF Radio. Andy is qualified to skipper a power driven vessel up to 78ft anywhere in the world.
His career has taken him far beyond Norfolk, skippering charter boats across Europe, the Caribbean, and Australia.
Now, through North Norfolk Coastal Discovery, Andy shares his passion for the sea and the beauty of the Norfolk coastline, offering unforgettable experiences for visitors and locals alike.
Alongside leisure trips, the company has also carried out ash scattering ceremonies at sea and assisted with the film industry.
