There are several shops in Wells that provide high quality food, much of it locally produced or sourced. The unique range of food suppliers on the North Norfolk Coast rely on the custom brought by visitors, particularly during the summer months.
Arthur Howell Butchers will deliver to your door fresh and cooked meats, fresh fish, a good range of cheeses, hams, pork pies, ‘lazy meals’, bread and cakes. Country Garden (01328 710846) will likewise supply a range of fruit and vegetables. Leftleys convenience store can deliver a wide range of household items, wines, beers and spirits, dairy products, cooked meats, tinned goods, frozen foods, pet foods, breakfast cereals, cakes, biscuits and bread, as well as fruit and vegetables. The Cooperative Superstore on Polka Road does not deliver but has a wide range of food and drink and offers parking. There is also a self-service petrol station next door.
