This is a perfect place for 1 or 2 couples, or a family of 4, to stay throughout the year.

Smugglers Cove is a secluded development of 4 apartments and 2 houses set back from the road, amongst trees and a landscaped private driveway. Entrance to the apartment is via a glass fronted light and airy hallway with stairs off to the 2 upstairs apartments.
The apartment is all on ground level.
Entrance Hall: Oak floored with coat hooks and a porthole mirror.
Kitchen: Contemporary cream kitchen with solid oak work surfaces, fan-assisted electric oven with gas hob, integral dishwasher, integral washing machine, microwave, large cafetiere and a full height fridge/freezer. There is a breakfast bar with 2 barstools and a patio door leading out to the shared courtyard garden.
Living Room: Spacious room with oak flooring and a large bay window. There is a sitting area containing 2 sofas, coffee table, bookcase with a selection of books and games, freeview flat screen Smart TV, DVD player, Wifi and an i-pod docking station. At the other end is a round dining table with designer chairs seating 4. Decor includes pictures by local artists and the owners of Wells scenes.
Bedroom 1: Beautifully presented with a king-size wrought iron bed, bedside tables and lamps, chest of drawers, wall mirror and built-in wardrobe.
Bedroom 2: Stylishly presented with twin beds, bedside table and lamp, wardrobe and full length mirror.
Hypoallergenic bedding.
Bathroom: Contemporary bathroom with coastal features, bath, hand basin, separate walk-in shower and WC.
Outside: There are 2 private allocated parking spaces at the front of the apartment and a secure bicycle rack for use by residents.
There is a sunny south west facing rear shared garden which is completely enclosed and mainly paved. There is a picnic table and a charcoal barbecue for use exclusively by 2 Smugglers Cove residents.
It is only 5 minutes walk from the picturesque quay via the quaint Jolly Sailors Lane and a short stroll from the great selection of shops and places to eat in Wells. The beautiful sandy beach is easily reached on foot, or via the miniature railway, with the splendour of Holkham Hall and beach only 5 minutes drive away.

We enjoyed another stay in this comfortable and well-equipped apartment, with beautiful weather as a bonus. Smugglers Cove is in a peaceful, quiet area of Wells, convenient for the shops and not far from the quay, ideal for a relaxing break.
I had a very pleasant time in Wells next the Sea. This isn’t the first time I have been to this particular accommodation. It is well laid out and spacious, nicely decorated and easy access to the harbour and the local amenities. I hope to return again in the future.
Brilliant, quiet location with easy access to the quay side. Plus the added benefit of two parking spaces. We enjoyed walking along the quayside to the beach cafe. A long term favourite, it was nice to be able to do so without having to drive to Wells.

Very nice apartment, well furnished and equipped and beautifully presented. Easy walk into town and close to bus stops. We enjoyed re-visiting places we have been coming to for 50 years.
A well equipped and beautifully furnished apartment in a convenient position a few minutes from the quayside. Spotlessly clean with comfortable furnishings. We enjoyed the ease of walking into town or quayside for good choice of eateries. We have rented many holiday homes and this is one of the very best!
This was our second stay in this apartment and, as before, we enjoyed our stay. The apartment is situated in a very good position, a five minute walk from the harbour and the main shopping street with it's restaurants and cafes. The apartment is warm and cosy and with all the equipment you would need.
Lovely apartment, great location with parking. Everything you need, a real home from home and the bed is so comfortable. A few minutes walk to shops and restaurants and only about 10 minutes to the beach. We enjoyed long walks, lots of visiting birds and great food. Our favourite place to stay in Wells x
We have stayed at 2 Smugglers Cove many times before and, as always, found it clean and comfortable with everything we needed. The flat is in a very quiet position not far from the quay, so peaceful, and with its own off street parking. Excellent lunches at the Jolly Sailors in Brancaster and the Thornham Deli.
The apartment was lovely and had everything we needed. The location was great, peaceful and quiet with the huge benefit of spacious parking. We have stayed in Wells twice before and this is our favourite. We enjoyed dining at The Globe several times. Our walks to Holkham beach were most enjoyable, as always!
Ideal location in Wells, convenient for easy walking to local amenities and restaurants. Excellent easy walks to Holkham and Stiffkey. For older people, accessible bus services from the Buttlands upon which bus passes are accepted. Must mention excellent fish and chips at French's and the good pizzas at Flour.
It was a pleasure to return to 2 Smugglers Cove. We have stayed there several times in the past and always found it to be comfortable and enjoyable. We enjoy the space and ease of access as there are days when we feel our age, and it is well situated for the town's facilities, shopping and restaurants.
