5 Pauls Maltings is a stunning penthouse coastal apartment which is part of the original maltings on the quay, with absolutely breathtaking panoramic views across Wells harbour and out to sea from the large bay window.
It has a superb sociable light and airy open-plan dining/sitting area with original character beams and two good sized bedrooms making it perfect for one or two couples, or a family to stay. It also has the added advantage of a designated parking space.

The apartment is accessed via an external brick staircase (with railings) around the back of the Maltings. Once inside the Maltings there are two further flight of stairs to reach number 5 on the top (third) floor.
Please note there is no lift and so not suitable for less mobile guests.
Open-plan kitchen, dining and sitting area a large spacious room with character beams and windows giving stunning views across the harbour. There is wifi available through the apartment.
Kitchen: fitted cream units and well-equipped with an electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge with an ice-box and dishwasher. (Please note there is no freezer).
Dining Area: Set in a large bay window which enjoys wonderful views overlooking the harbour. Has a large dining table with six comfortable dining chairs.
Sitting Area: Overlooks the harbour with two large comfy sofas, coffee table and Smart TV, there is a further little cosy reading area with chair and stools with picture windows overlooking the quay
Bedroom 1: Has a lovely harbour view from the side window. With a king-size bed, bedside lamps and side table, chest of drawers and mirror over, occasional chairs and coat stand.
Bedroom 2: With twin beds, bedside table and lamps, chest of drawers with mirror over and a wooden cot.
Bathroom: With a shower over the bath, hand basin, heated towel rail and WC.
Outside: There is the advantage of a designated parking space for one car in nearby Tunns Yard.
The ultimate coastal location, literally steps to the quay and within walking distance of the beautiful coast and all of Wells’ shops and places to eat.

- Deposit payable – 33% of total rent
- Balance payable 42 days prior to arrival

Beautiful accommodation, fabulous views, feel very lucky to have stayed.
Wonderful flat in an excellent position overlooking the Quay, close to shops, pubs with onside parking.
Arriving - the place felt very large and was instantly "home" - thank you.
Lovely property. Fantastic location, and bright, airy and spacious. The highlight is the view. We loved the reading nook. Quiet despite the central location. Excellent food particularly at Bang and Flour. Great fish and chips at French’s but the queue was long! Fantastic stay. Thank you!
Lovely apartment with great views. Handy for both the town of Wells and the coast either side. Beautiful beaches and an evening meal in Wells Crab House.
The view from this apartment is lovely. It is not suitable for anyone who is not mobile as there is not a lift. The apartment has a bedroom with 2 single beds and a cot. You cannot tire of looking out of the window, being able to lie in bed watching the tide flow in and out is a lovely sight.
A very spacious flat with outstanding views. However the two flights of stairs are not for the feint-hearted! The weather was so much better than the forecast. We enjoyed sitting in the window watching the world go by.
The location was fantastic. Every time you looked out of a window the views of the rooftops of Wells or the Quay were amazing. The kitchen had everything we needed. The parking was very close to the entrance to the flats which was so handy. Loved being central to everything. Thank you.
Perfect location, great view, immediately felt at home. Watching an entire tide come in, from dead low to top high. I’m a Wells boy but had never done that before!

Excellent, we really enjoyed it. The views are best in Wells. Lovely furniture, very nice different woods. Clean and welcoming.
We loved the flat. the views were amazing out over the estuary and along the quay. The flat was well equipped and really comfortable. We didn't want to leave. The views were such a highlight for us with the changing tides and light. We did a boat trip to the marshes and saw a spoonbill.
