Compass Cottage (No.9 Brig Square) is an original Fisherman's Cottage built circa 1648.

Full of character, including old oak beams and alcoves. This is a spacious 2 bedroom property spread over 3 floors that comfortably sleeps 5 guests. All staircases are straight & easy to use.

There are two gardens to the front & rear of the property. South facing enclosed garden with patio furniture, lawn, drying area & bicycle shed.

The entrance to Compass Cottage leads into a comfortable lounge with character oak beam ceiling and feature fireplace & dining area.

Cloakroom toilet & wash basin.

Well equipped kitchen. Conventional electric cooker, small fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster, cafetiere, washing machine, toaster, kettle etc.

Upstairs

First floor bedroom: Double bed with bedside tables, chest of drawers & built in cupboard.

Bathroom: Bath/overhead shower, washbasin & toilet.

Second floor: 3 Adult single beds with bedside cabinets, drawers, built in cupboard & shelves.

The cottage has amazing views to the marshes, harbour & lifeboat station out to sea.

Private off road parking.

Property Location

Wells is close to famous nature reserves: Holkham, Cley, Titchwell & Pensthorpe. It's ideal for walkers & bird watchers. Wells has a wonderful harbour & fishing community, and a lovely beach dotted with colourful beach huts with a backdrop of pine trees.

There are plenty of superb eateries & well known fish n’ chip shops. The narrow main street has various shops with great choices for everyone.
