We've stayed on a lot of cottages in Wells but Hampden surpassed them all. The location is perfect, it was spotlessly clean and well equipped. Its a quiet part of Wells but only a short walk to the harbour and shops. Loved it!
We had a lovely weekend in Wells-next-the-Sea and Jane's home was the perfect base. We enjoyed walks from the front door as well as drives further afield, and the aga made the house wonderfully warm to return to. The town had great shops, food and drink.
What a fabulous cottage Hampden House is! Wonderful location, extremely well equipped, spotlessly clean and super comfortable! Met all our expectations and more! Everything was perfect! Would highly recommend and hopefully return.
Beautiful house in a beautiful location. Looking forward to staying again!
We had a fabulous time - the house exceeded expectations. Extremely comfortable and warm with amazing views over the harbour. We have been to Wells several times and this is the best and most well equipped place we have stayed in. Would definitely recommend.
2nd visit so we know we loved it! Great cottage, very well equipped in an excellent location. Will be booking again soon!
We absolutely loved staying at Hampden House. The location is wonderful - right on the water front and just a short walk from the centre of town. Thank you for a lovely stay Jane. We had a fantastic long weekend in Wells-next-the-sea!
A beautiful and inviting home in a special place. The kitchen is well equipped and spacious with plenty of crockery and glasses and some attractive mugs. So lovely to wake up with a view of the quay and sit by the water, listening to the bird life.
Absolutely beautiful cottage in a perfect location. Will definitely visit again.
Great homely feel. Kitchen has everything you could ever need. Bed in main bedroom was very comfortable. Great location for walks into town and walking the dogs. Great views of the ever changing tide.
We absolutely loved our stay in Hampden House. It was just perfect for our family anniversary celebrations. As soon as we walked inside we fell in love with it... well thought out decor, we'll equipped, perfect views and in a perfect location.
We rented this house for the August bank holiday to celebrate my mums 75th birthday and it was idyllic. The location is perfect, the house is beautiful and Jane couldn’t have been nicer or more helpful!
