Harbour Cottage is a wonderful 3-storey flint and brick property which is situated in a quiet courtyard location, behind the iconic Granary building close to Wells’ quay, with views across the harbour and out to sea. It has been tastefully refurbished with a nautical theme by its new owners for use as their holiday home.
This is an ideal place to stay for families, with the advantage of 2 en-suite double bedrooms on the top floor which both have lovely views out across the harbour. There is a sociable open-plan living area on the first floor, with the advantage of Sky and free Wi-fi, and access to the south facing courtyard seating area.
On the ground floor is a children’s room with a single bed and a bunk bed where the bottom bed is a double with a single bed above. There is also a shower room.
Please note this is strictly a no pets property.

Ground Floor
Entrance hall with a shoe stand and comfortable armchair. There is access into the garage where there is a high chair and travel cot if required.
Utility Room: With a washing machine and coats storage.
Bedroom 3: One single bed and also has a bunk bed where the bottom bed is a double with a single above ‘perfect for children’.
Shower Room: Walk-in shower, hand basin and WC.
Under the stairs is children’s area that contains games, kites and den building kits!!
The stairs are not steep and there is a hand rail.
First Floor
Light and spacious open-plan living area with a wooden floor and views out towards the harbour.
Kitchen: Is well-equipped with a built-in fridge/freezer, built-in dishwasher, electric oven and halogen hob, microwave and toaster. The dining area has a good-sized table seating 6 and a sideboard with a selection of books and games.
Sitting Area: Has 2 sofas and an armchair and a large Smart TV and DVD player. There’s the advantage of a Sky package including Sky as well as Wi-Fi throughout the cottage. There is a door to the outside courtyard garden area.
There is a cot, highchair and stairgate at the property if required, plus hairdryers in each bedroom.
Second Floor
Bedroom 1: Newly decorated with a king-size bed and lovely views out towards the sea. There are bedside tables and lamps, chest of drawers, a built-in wardrobe and Smart TV.
En-suite Bathroom: Has a bath with wall-mounted shower over, hand basin, heated towel rail and WC.

Please Note: number of guests must be confirmed 4 weeks prior to your arrival – The relevant number of beds required will be made up, so please confirm which bedrooms are required.
Outside
The property is situated off the road in a small courtyard behind the Granary building. There is private parking space for 2 cars immediately in front of the property. Please be aware that there is a narrow walled slope leading to the parking spaces.
At the back is a south facing walled paved seating area where there is an outside table and chairs and a barbecue. Please note that whilst this area is safe and fully enclosed, it is open to the adjacent properties on either side.
Superbly located within walking distance of the quay, several shops, restaurants and the sandy beach.

Lovely stay in Harbour Cottage. Perfect location, really lovely house, we had an amazing week!
An enjoyable holiday with plenty of fish and chip shops and ice cream shops. Good atmosphere and Carnival procession at the weekend, with glorious weather to enjoy it all.
The property is secluded and quiet, and deceptively near to all Wells' facilities. The accommodation is quite spacious, the ground floor bedroom more suited to children. Car parking is good, easily accommodating 2 cars. A very relaxing cottage to take a holiday.
Lovely property and fully equipped for our stay. Location excellent so we could walk to the beach and not have to worry about parking the car. The weather helped make this a lovely holiday in Wells. It was very busy as it was a Bank Holiday weekend but we could easily walk to the beach and find a space to sit.
We liked Harbour Cottage. It has a very good room layout and private location. Car access requires driver confidence in negotiating the narrow ramp to the three adjacent cottages. The weather was brilliant.

Very spacious property and nice and bright. Extremely handy for all the amenities in Wells which has some very nice eateries and pubs. Can definitely recommend The Crown. Lots of nice walks and some great stately homes and places to visit. Nice and quiet and parking was great.
Very relaxing place to stay, close to everything in the town. Bright and airy, tastefully decorated and had everything we needed. Good weather all week despite the forecast which meant we visited all the places we wanted to.

Our fourth stay in this beautiful and comfortable house. Such a fantastic location for our holiday adventures. We all slept very well in the comfortable beds. The showers were hot and powerful, and the views of the harbour were lovely to wake up to. We really enjoy carnival week in Wells as there is so much to do.
Lovely location. Walking distance to school and some nice restaurants. We were lucky with beautiful weather so had some lovely walks and beach trips.
