Peewits is a luxurious penthouse quayside apartment with absolutely breathtaking views of Wells harbour, with a gorgeous balcony at the front overlooking the sea and a second south facing balcony at the back.
No expense has been spared in furnishing and equipping this stunning light and airy coastal apartment with underfloor heating and air-conditioning throughout, making it the perfect temperature in all weather conditions.
Cleverly designed so guests can enjoy a sociable open plan living space with wonderful views, together with two beautifully presented bedrooms (with super king and king size beds), each with their own contemporary bath/shower room.
There’s the added advantage of lift access for the less mobile and a designated parking space.

The penthouse is accessed via a private parking area (through an archway next to The Granary building) on the Quay. There is an entrance lobby where guests may choose to use the lift or a wide staircase to access the top floor.
Each room in the apartment has underfloor heating heating with thermostatic controls, together with remote controlled air-conditioning units. There is a Sonos music system and Wifi available.
The open-plan kitchen, dining and sitting area with large glazed windows gives stunning views across the harbour.
Kitchen: Contemporary well-equipped kitchen, generously supplied with outdoor melanin tableware, plenty of crockery and glasses. Contains an electric oven, halogen hob, microwave, under counter fridge, dishwasher, washer/dryer and a second fridge with ice-box. Doors open out to the back balcony.
Dining Area: Overlooks the harbour and has a large dining table with four chairs.
Sitting Area: Overlooks the harbour and decorated in a contemporary coastal style with a large comfy corner sofa, day-bed sofa, coffee table, Smart TV with Sky package and an electric flame-effect fire. Glazed doors open out to the front balcony.
Bedroom 1: Has a lovely harbour view with a small balcony. With a super king-size (6ft) bed, bedside lamps, overhead ceiling fan, built-in dressing table & stool, TV, built-in wardrobe with mirrored doors.
En-suite Shower Room: With shower cubicle, hand basin, WC and heated towel rail.
Bedroom 2: Situated at the back of the apartment with a king-size (5ft) bed, bedside tables and lamps, built-in wardrobe and chest of drawers.
Bathroom: With a bath with fixed shower over, hand basin, heated towel rail and WC.
Outside
Front Balcony: A fabulous place to sit and watch Wells harbour – simply magical at any time of the year! There are two high tables and stools with wall-mounted heaters to keep you warm on chilly evenings.
Back Balcony: A south facing suntrap overlooking the back of Wells. Has two outdoor lounger chairs and wall-mounted heaters for warmth.
There is the advantage of a designated parking space for one car in the private Quayside Court parking area.
This is the ultimate coastal location, situated on the quay within walking distance of the beautiful coast and all of Wells’ shops and places to eat.

Wonderful view of Wells Harbour from this well appointed flat. Close to all the town’s amenities (shops, pubs, cafes). The beach and sea are about 20 minutes walk.
Beautiful apartment with stunning views. We enjoyed looking out over the harbour and creek especially in the evening.
Pleasant and comfortable apartment with magnificent views. We loved being at Wells-next-the-Sea.
Very comfortable and well equipped. Although only two of us we appreciate the extra space this 4 bed/2 bath offers. As we were there during winter hours it was a pleasant bonus having Sky tv. Excellent view from the front balcony.
We were lucky with the weather and went on four lovely long walks along the Pedlars Way. There was good choice of eateries in Wells.
Many, many thanks for yet another wonderful week at your ‘Presidential Penthouse’. Our 3 grandchildren came for the day to watch ‘Santa’ arrive by boat from the North Pole and completely loved it. Already looking forward to our next trip to Peewits in June.
Nice property, well located, great views out to sea. An enjoyable week for our first visit to Wells-next-the-Sea and good base for visiting local places of interest. Generally very good facilities at Peewits and the access to Sky tv was an unexpected bonus.
Lovely apartment. Very nice furnishings & well equipped. Excellent location, fantastic views. Public landings & staircases were very clean. Nice to have more than one balcony. A good variety of restaurants and pubs nearby. Nice walks and lovely weather.
Another fantastic week at Peewits. Fantastic views and wonderful British weather made it another perfect week in Peewits. We look forward to returning in November. Thankyou.
I’m sure all previous guests have written about the view! The main reason for our visit is the location of the apartment. Although Wells is very busy during the day, the evenings are really quiet and peaceful. We loved our two weeks, wish it could have been longer.
We enjoyed our holiday in the flat with views across the Town to the rear and the quay with the comings and goings of the boats, the estuary, marshes and beyond from the front.
Fantastic well appointed apartment, excellent views. The view is to die for. Excellent weather made it even better.
