The Rosary is a small traditional single-storey cottage tucked away down one of Wells’ many lanes, off The Buttlands, only a minute’s walk of the renowned hotel/restaurant ‘The Crown’. It is simply furnished in period style and has a courtyard garden which has a little studio leading from it.
Please note that short breaks are not possible at this cottage.

All Accommodation is on the Ground Floor
Kitchen: Large fridge/freezer, built-in single electric oven and gas hob, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave. There is a breakfast bar with 2 stools.
Bathroom: Bath and electric shower, hand basin, WC and towel rail.
Bedroom: King-size bed, bedside tables and lamps, chest of drawers, hanging space and wooden shutters.
Sitting Room: Open working fireplace, sofa, armchair, flatscreen TV. Doors to outside courtyard area.
The cottage has gas central heating.
Outside
Whilst there is no designated off-street parking, it is usually possible to park on the nearby Buttlands where there are no parking restrictions.
There’s an enclosed courtyard area with cast iron round table and chairs, water fountain, shrubs and plants.
Garden Room
Accessed from the courtyard a useful additional space with sofa and storage (ideal for bikes).
Sorry no pets.
The cottage is only a short walk to the quay and a good selection of shops. The sandy beach is 1 mile away and may be reached on foot, car or beach bus.

This is a lovely cottage and courtyard garden. Well equipped and comfortable.
A delightfully comfortable cottage in the heart of Wells’ old town close to everything that is on offer. Ideal for a short or long break where everything worked.
We had a lovely week and loved the cottage. It was in a beautiful location on the High Street, very quiet despite being close to the main shopping area and harbour. It was a comfortable stay in a period cottage which we loved. Lovely courtyard. Very happy with the cottage and location.
Garden restful and quiet. House cool for most of day. Location convenient.
We had a wonderful week staying at the Rosary. Perfect location for us. We particularly enjoyed having the garden room to store our bikes, it was perfect. The Rosary is very well equipped and felt very homely. The bed was very comfortable and the towels soft and fluffy.
Great cottage, peaceful and comfortable. Good WiFi, and basket of goodies.
I loved the owner’s attention to detail. Each beautiful piece of china was placed to harmonise, the mirrors were placed to add depth and life to the little cottage. Even the man hole cover in the bathroom had a lovely nautical mosaic on it. It was very clean, welcoming and comfortable.
A lovely cottage. Very comfortable in excellent location with brilliant amenities. (The new TV is a great new feature!) Comfortable bed. Very attractive garden. Well equipped kitchen. Planning to return in future!
This is the second visit to this property. A perfect location for a visit to all Wells and the North Norfolk coast has to offer. Lovely welcome pack especially the marmalade - really nice. Although it’s a small property it has everything two people need. Thank you.
The Rosary is in a good location which was better than we expected. We would stay here again as was everything was okay for us to enjoy a break away in Wells.
The Rosary was well equipped. Property was exactly as described in the brochure and from the photos. An excellent location in Wells and we appreciated the information pack that was sent before the visit.
