The Handa Gallery at Wells Maltings has gained a regional reputation for exhibitions of art, sculpture and crafts, hosting around 8-10 events annually.
Exhibitions tend to run for a minimum of 10 days, up to 4 weeks, but this can vary. Private views and other preview events can be arranged in support of the exhibition.
The Handa Gallery is open for public viewing 7 days a week. Entry is usually free and open to everyone.

Metamorphosis The Gallery, located on Staithe Street, is owned by established sculptor Sally Dunham who has been selling her work direct to the public and through galleries since graduating in 1998
The gallery, a realisation of a long held ambition, provides a setting for her own unique sculptures alongside the work of over 40 carefully selected talented independent British artists and craftspeople working in a whole range of 2D and 3D medias.
Open since August 2022, Sally has aimed for the gallery to have a rustic and homely feel, and hopefully demonstrate to people how the artwork could look in their own home. You will find a warm and friendly welcome and something for every taste and budget at Metamorphosis The Gallery.
The Staithe Gallery is tucked away between an estate agent and a delicatessen. The Tardis-like gallery has a surprisingly spacious and airy exhibition area, providing a welcome retreat from the hustle & bustle of Staithe Street.
The gallery is owned by artists David Roger Burton and Caroline Richmond, whose exhibitions offer a fine choice of Norfolk coastal scenes, wildlife and abstract art, as well as beautiful three dimensional pieces by local artisans.
They also house an ever-changing collection of decorative, antique and vintage items, which complement the art work on display.
You will receive a warm welcome from David and Caroline, and the freedom to browse to your heart’s content!
Saltmarsh and Samphire specialise in landscape photography from the beautiful North Norfolk coast. The gallery, located on Staithe Street, is run by Brett Gardner and Emma Stickley.
Brett has been photographing landscapes since 2004. He has had many images published, both nationally and internationally, and was shortlisted for British Wildlife Photographer of the Year in 2013. Emma has a background in visual arts and photography with an interest in quirky contemporary design.
They print, mount and frame all of their own work, and also offer fine art, craft and soft furnishings inspired by the North Norfolk coast.
