The Picnic Hut in Wells is a light bite café and takeaway serving all manner of delicious goodies including generously filled sandwiches, salads, soups, hot snacks, homemade cakes, smoothies, shakes, luxury ice cream, hot chocolate and Fairtrade tea and coffee.
Famous for their North Norfolk crab sandwiches and rolls (supplied fresh every morning), there are many other tasty fillings and flavours to choose from including roast chicken, homebaked ham, mature cheddar and roast beef, all made using the finest local ingredients.
They also offer a picnic service, freshly made to order and packed ready for collection, perfect for a day at the beach.
Owner Elaine, who previously worked for the NHS for the best part of 40 years, is always on hand to offer a warm welcome, and free dog biscuits to hungry four-legged friends!
If you’re in town and feeling peckish, pop into the cosy café on Staithe Street where a scrumptious selection of sweet and savoury snacks awaits.
